Ive only lost 2lbs this week even though I worked my little cotton socks off. I was about to break down and cry and binge bc my mind went straight to “failure” , “what’s the point” , “and you’re worthless”. BUT YA KNOW WHAT? I lost 2lbs, I didn’t gain and I didn’t stay the same, I improved and got closer to my goal.
Please be kind to yourself, you get further if you don’t lose focus and stay realistic. I want everyone to be happy and I know that in this community its hard, but you ALL deserve and hug and kiss.

Tips:
Don’t eat under 500 cals a day unless you KNOW that you don’t binge
Eat a warm and filling breakfast that’s low in calories. E.g. Porridge
Do at least 40 mins of cardio a day. I like to walk to school (30 min speed walk) and back. I also take dance gcse and take my dogs on walks
I know people say it all the time but please driiiiink waaaterrr. It burns calories, keeps skin nice and dehydration can be mistaken for hunger
Diet sodas are okay, just not too many. I use them as if they’re a treat that I won’t feel guilty about.
Don’t solely rely on the scale. Use a measuring tape when you’re not bloated.
Set realistic goals. Don’t be bummed if you haven’t lost that 40lbs in a month, because a lot of the time your body isn’t capable of that.
Understand every body is different. Some people store fat in different places, they have different body shapes/ bine structure, different metabolisms and some people loose weight differently
TRICKS:
Eat a 150 cal breakfast or lower ( porridge or fruit). Then a 50 cal or lower lunch (like celery, cucumber, melon,grapes,raspberries,blueberries, an apple) and that leaves enough calories for dinner as some people have to eat with family
Sneak food to your dog under the table, just make sure its safe for them
When no one is looking, put food into your pocket at dinner (preferably not things like mash potato 😂) — you can place a plastic poo bag in you’re pocket, but it can make a noise
I live by chew and spit. BUUUTTTT make sure you eat something after doing a big sesh of chewing and spitting otherwise you will feel hungrier and your stomach acids flare up
If you know you cant trust yourself to not eat that whole bag of sweets in one go, DONT BUY IT
Use calorie counters or your calculator (my fitness pal is good)
Even if you eat 1000- 1200 you will not gain weight (if you do its just water and food weight ) and you will still be loosing weight
Do not be afraid to work out those muscles. They are what keep everything looking nice and it keeps you strong enough for daily activities

The best part about weight loss is feeling it, finally, after being uncomfortable for so long. It’s running your hands over your hip bones, feeling your collarbone and sharp shoulders, the space between you and your clothing when you move. It’s sitting down without your stomach bulging. It’s walking without your thighs slamming together. It’s placing your hand to the side of your face and feeling that delicate cheekbone in your palm. Looking thin is great, but feeling thin is amazing.
